    Truly, Naturally Beautiful

Zoe Organics products are not tested on animals and contain no parabens, phthalates, sulfates, surfactants, petrochemicals, animal products (except organic beeswax) or artificial colors or fragrances. They also made eco-conscious choices for their packaging, using recyclable/reusable materials, biodegradable vegetable cellulose bags, unbleached muslin fabric, and no unnecessary extras.

100% Organic ingredients ~ helianthus annuus (sunflower) oil {infused with lavendula angustifolia (lavender) flowers, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flowers, calendula officinalis (calendula) flowers, and plantago major (plaintain) leaf], theobroma cacao (cocoa) butter, beeswax, melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree) essential oil.

Lavender ~ (flowers, essential oil) ~ properties include: antiseptic, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-toxic, anti-inflammatory, cytophylactic, decongestant, restorative and tonic on the skin. It also contains a high percentage of naturally occuring linalool, which makes it excellent for healing.

Chamomile ~ (flowers, essential oil) ~ useful in treating minor abrasions, cuts and scrapes and as a sedative and sleep aid. It's an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antiviral and antiparasitic, which also has an exceptionally high content of essential oils.

Calendula ~ (flowers, extract) ~ commonly used to disinfect minor wounds and treat skin infections, the antibacterial and immunostimulant properties of this plant make it extremely useful in treating slow-healing cuts and cuts in those with compromised immune systems.

Plantain Leaf ~ known to relieve pain for bee stings and insect bites, stop itching from poison ivy and other allergic rashes, and promote healing of sores and bruises. The leaves are edible and can be chewed to relieve sores in the mouth.

Cocoa Butter ~ cocoa has been called “food of the gods.” It's been used for centuries in Africa for its moisturizing and healing properties, and for protecting and conditioning skin that's been damaged by the sun and wind. Cocoa butter also contains natural antioxidants and is naturally rich in vitamin E and other vitamins and minerals, as well as cocoa mass polyphenol (CMP), a substance that inhibits the production of immunoglobulin (IgE). Women have used it for centuries to prevent and treat stretch marks, and research indicates that use of cocoa butter on the skin can help relieve stress, boost the immune system and even prevent cancer.

Beeswax ~ produced by the female worker honeybees and harvested by removing the top layer of wax that covers the honey cells. Beeswax works well in cosmetic products because of the wax esthers that exist in both beeswax and human skin. Beeswax is a natural hydrating ingredient that increases essential moisture in skin and in the relief of itching from sensitivities. It has an irritation potential of zero, so it won't cause irritation or clog pores, but rather provide a host of benefits such as general healing, antiseptic and emollient. Even after processing, it remains a biologically active ingredient, retaining some anti-bacterial properties. It also contains naturally occuring vitamin A, which is necessary for normal cell development.

Tea Tree Essential Oil ~ properties include: analgesic, antibacterial, antibiotic, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antiparasitic, antiseptic, antiviral, balsamic, cicatrisant, decongestant, diaphoretic, expectorant, fungicidal, stimulant (immune) and vulnerary. Used to treat abscess, acne, asthma, blisters, cronchitis, burns, chicken pox, cold sores, colds, coughs, dandruf, ear and nose infections, fever, flu, fungal infections, immune system deficiencies, insect bites, local anesthetic, respiratory problems, skin rashes, staph, strep throat, thrush, vaginal infections, viral infections, warts, whooping, cough, and wounds.
