Located in Napa, California, Napa Organics is a family business that produces natural and organic skincare with local agricultural products. Most of the ingredients used are locally sourced in Northern California and when available, are certified organic. Owner Hilary Glass feels lucky to live in a part of the country that has an abundance of high quality agriculture products. Ingredients like organic olive oil, organic almond oil, plum kernel oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, organic lavender, organic rose geranium, organic honey and beeswax are all sourced from local farms.

Hilary's family has been in Napa since 1959 and ranching in California since the 1880s. Although Napa has become a world famous culinary and wine destination, it's still a bucolic valley with a rich connection to its past. Growing up among Napa's vineyards and the apricot, walnut, almond, and prune orchards instilled an appreciation for nature and an understanding of nature's gifts that inspires everything Hilary and her company does.

The two most obvious differences between Larsen blocks and others are attention to detail and personalization. Instead of tumbling the blocks together in a large bin (creating nicks and dents on the surface), these blocks are individually sanded using a custom jig and machine called SandFlee. The same set-up is used to bevel the edges and corners to make sure nothing is too sharp for the little ones.
