Greenpeace is well known as the world’s largest independent, direct-action, environmental organization. This powerful group is now focusing attention on the fashion industry with their “The Detox” campaign, taking on some of the industry’s largest clothing brands and encouraging them to end their use of toxic chemicals that spill into local water supplies.
The campaign is currently supported by about half a million people around the world all demanding non-toxic fashion and clean water. In partnership with Free Range Studios they’ve also created this compelling “Detox Fashion” video, which we applaud and are proud to share with you here:
Greenpeace has already affected change by gaining the commitment of industry leaders including Nike, Adidas, H&M, Levi’s, and Victoria’s Secret to champion the goal of ending toxic water pollution. We can all join the movement and show our support by signing The Detox Manifesto.
