Go back to school worry free! This Three-In-One Lunch Kit from ECOlunchbox is 100% plastic-free, waste-free, lead-free, BPA-free, PVC-free and vinyl-free. In other words, it's healthy for people and the planet. Functional and fashionable for both children and adults, the unique kit comes with a colorful lunch backpack and stackable stainless steel food container, plus three matching cotton napkins.
The handmade lunch bag is machine washable and sewn from textiles that are hand block printed by artisans in India. Fully reversible and adjustable to fit children and adults, the bag has a unique strap design that can be buttoned down into a backpack or unbuttoned for carrying as a shoulder or hip bag. The three matching napkins measure are designed for use as placemats or napkins.

- Three-in-One Bento Box ~ Now it's easy to pack a non-toxic, plastic-free and waste-free lunchbox! With three nesting containers included in the set, the Three-in-One is ideal for a child's lunch. Most children pack a sandwich and two side dishes, and they don't like their food getting mixed up or squished. Problem solved!
- The stainless steel nesting lunch box includes upper and lower food containers plus a small, nesting snack container that's deal for packing apple slices, pretzel sticks, and carrot sticks. The clips are kid-tested and can be adjusted to desired stiffness.
- All together when boxed up, the bento measures 4" wide x 5.5" long x 2.75" high, and holds about 4 cups of food. The bottom section is 1" deep (1.5 cups) and fits a small whole sandwich on sliced bread. The top layer is a bit larger at 1.5" deep (1.75 cups) and works well for bulkier food, such as chips, sliced fruit, leftover pastas or salads.

- Note ~ Not leak proof. Damp foods work well in these containers, but because the lids don't have any plastic gaskets or other added synthetics to create a seal, very wet foods will leak.

Founded as a triple-bottom-line social enterprise in 2009, ECOlunchbox was born of the idea that change can begin at lunchtime. Founder Sandra Harris wanted to make a difference in how she packed her family’s lunches ~ to cut out the plastic and do the right thing for human health as well as Mother Earth. It seemed like a pretty simple concept: design a food container out of something plastic-free and make it available to friends, family and in stores.
This small family-run business is proud to share that their ECOlunchbox products have averted the use of millions of pieces of plastic! It makes Sandra happy to know that her products have empowered people to say goodbye to plastic at lunchtime, and that by providing products as tools to help people green their habits she's also opened their thinking to moving beyond plastic in other parts of their lives as well.
